• Frequency: Dry cleaning silks every third wash helps maintain their fresh appearance.
• Stains: Take the garment to a professional dry cleaner if it is badly stained. Do not apply water to fresh stains, especially if you haven’t washed the garment before, as this can worsen the stain.
• Longevity: If you prefer your silk garments to look new for longer, dry cleaning is the preferred method, although careful washing is also effective.
